Why we chose to carry Honua

The ancient Hawaiians believed it was our duty to care for the land which takes care of us. The name of the brand gives credit to her. Honua Hawaiian Skincare shares with the world a new approach to skin care through traditional methodologies and Hawaiian healing botanicals.

In Hawaii, sharing the aloha spirit is also very important, and their mission with Honua Hawaiian Skincare is to put “aloha” or love and compassion into everything they do, from sourcing their ingredients and making their products, to applying them on your skin.

Their production supports farmers who are cultivating and perpetuating native Hawaiian plants for future generations. A percentage of their proceeds are dedicated to replenish native plants, support the education of Hawaiian culture and promote self-sustainability. Their packaging is compostable and made with vegetable ink, wind energy and above all, ALOHA (love and compassion).
