In 1959, a group of independent thinkers drew upon the pioneering spirit that was so much a part of their California heritage and set out on a road of rediscovery. Theirs was a path back to simple, wholesome ingredients proven safer and proven to work together in naturally effective ways. And so the JĀSÖN (which means "healer" in Greek) brand was born.

They began by making a pact to select only the purest, gentlest ingredients, and put them through a series of rigorous testing procedures that would reflect their high standards. Over the years these tests have grown more rigorous. Just because an ingredient is plant-based doesn’t mean it should go into a personal care product.

It takes their team of formulators an additional three or four months of testing after a formula is “approved” to ensure its safety. Only after the formula passes its stability testing, preservative effectiveness testing, skin irritation testing, package/product compatibility testing and over-the-counter drug test is it actually approved for production.

The JĀSÖN team meticulously created body-loving products staying true to their Code of Honor; Select safe, gentle and effective ingredients; Rigorously test every formula to ensure safety and efficacy; Never test on animals and constantly innovate and improve.

JĀSÖN products use vegan ingredients. There is only one animal-derived ingredient, that is beeswax that is used in the Cooling Minerals & Tea Tree Muscle Pain Therapy.
